She did drop out though when it was obvious she was weakening him and begged all of her superdelegates to cast an Obama vote at the convention (and later her supporters to vote for Obama in November)

Hillary ended up with a majority in popular vote and the race was a lot closer, and she still dropped out. And, Hillary gave this phenomenal speech for Obama and campaigned for him. Bernie needs to do the same.

If a superdelegate were to change their vote, they would probably tell the media about it in order to make a big show out of it. And then their vote would switch in the official count. No biggie

It's important to show superdelegate votes because they do count, at the end of the day

Nah, they really should, since the person who leads with them this time (Obama led them by this point in 2008 despite switching NOT occurring) also has the majority of pledged delegates and the popular vote, both by insurmountable margins!

Yes I agree the GOP has hit a dead-end with the likes of Cruz, but Trump represents a more modern Republican party that has been reinvigorated.

I finish my undergrad degree in 2017. In the fall, as a safety-measure, I'm applying to grad schools abroad and if Trump wins... That's where I'll be going. I'm not even joking.

Gerrymandering is responsible for the House, and the opposition party usually takes the Senate. Comparing national politics to local politics is useless. Maryland has a Republicsn governor. Is that a signal of a conservative revolution?

The GOP has handicapped themselves BADLY in presidential politics. Demographics are destiny for the foreseeable future, unless you can provide an example of a convincing scenario where the GOP wins the presidency despite losing badly among everyone darker than a Kleenex.

She didn't drop out until June though

They should be included, because the only way they would ever switch their vote is if somehow Bernie overtook her in pledged delegates, which will obviously never happen. Those supers are going to stay Hillary's, and she's likely to gain the majority of the remaining unpledged supers, as well.

And with so few pledged delegates left to win, you have to count the superdelegates now. Maybe a couple months ago, it wouldn't have been appropriate, but it certainly is now.

Hillary campaigned hard and supported Obama in 2008 after it became clear he was going to win the nomination.

I'm pretty sure President Obama will return the favor. Also it helps that his approval rate is really high.

The demographics only seem to matter for the presidency at this point. But they still have work to do.
And gerrymandering is not the only cause of them having the highest margin in the house in decades. Dems for whatever reason just don't go vote.

Modern? Seriously, he is a caricature of the archaic Republican base. He has doubled-down on the hateful rhetoric and bigotry that we have come to expect from the Republican party. But yes, he has certainly reinvigorated a part of America who want to go back to the 1800s.
