You were saying he shouldn't drop out for a national election, and yet the NATION wants HILLARY. Bernie should still drop out to help defeat Trump. His continued campaign just weakens the chance to defeat Trump, Hillary is going to be the nominee, whether you think she's a strong candidate or a weak one, his continued candidacy is weakening her. Thus, he is strengthening Trump.

Right, like they unconventionally switched over to Obama.

The superdelegates who switched to Obama switched after Hillary dropped out, in the name of party unity. Two of the supers that switched were Bill and HIllary

A shame they are traditionally a Republican state in November. I guess they don't really count then.

To be fair, many do use one L and not two.
But carry on...

In fairness, autocorrect on my phone always changed it to "Hilary" until I saved HRC's spelling

That doesn't change that he's going to lose.

He's essentially calling her a corporate puppet and implying that she would trade money for favors, especially with wall street.

A mess @ Bernie still staying the superdelegates should vote how their state voted, when it's already shown that he would still be losing massively if that were the case.

I'd love a few examples of this too. I think they might be confusing 'progressivism' with 'communism'

The thread's tone became Trump vs Hillary the second Cruz dropped out, and any BernieBots came into the argument panel became a figment of imagination.
The GE is gonna be so exciting.

-calling her unqualified
-alluding she's untrustworthy/dishonest with the DNC raising money tactics
-saying her words about the crime bill in 1994 were racist
-saying what Bill did to those women (whatever happened) was disgraceful
etc
He has not been above the fray

Maybe the world you're in is the same world Karl Rove was in when he guaranteed a Romney victory.

I live in a world where the GOP hold 34 governor ships, most of the state houses, the house, the senate, and until Scalia died the Supreme Court. If Hilary loses, the Dems will be completely shut out of government at all levels.

It's not Bernie's fault that she's a weak candidate
You could also say Hillary was weakening Obama. Candidates can stay in as long as they want to. Bernie doesn't have to drop out just because a few HillaryBots want him to

If it's not clear enough by now, the point of his campaign is furthering a true progressive agenda, not just getting any person with a D next to their name in office which has largely been the democratic agenda for decades now.
|
He's been going after the Republican candidates over Hillary all these months. now he can actually focus all his bigotry/sensationalized lies/insults on her like he's done to poor Ted since March. If you take out the whole low blow/5th grade nonsense from Trump, they use the same talking points (she's controlled by Wall St, she voted for the Iraq War, she's what the establishment wants, etc)
I'm curious if Bernie can keep attacking the presumptive democratic nominee alongside Trump without looking like he has the same ideologies/is similar to Trump.

My point is that their vote is not permanent, therefore they should not be included in the overall count yet.

This makes me wonder what the country will look like after 8 years of pure conservatism. I can just imagine the amount of protests that would go on
