This really isn't true. If you're gonna be like that then Europe is worse. Not only have they been at war for much of their history, but their wars have caused massive bloodshed. The wars in the 1600s and WWII killed a big chunk of their population.

I don't not support Beyonce's social issues advocation as I don't view it as genuine, BUT:
If you want her to support everything, how far does the list go?
If you want to support one social issue, does that mean you have to speak up for blind people, deaf people, white people, black people, asians, muslims, christians, africans, retarded people, mental illness, gay, trans, bi.... how far does the list go on?

She sounds so stupid in so many ways. She'd have a point if it didn't come across as her trying to downplay the importance of BLM in comparison to other issues. Bey speaks directly on what is affecting her and her people in her country. That doesn't mean she's not sympathetic. She has an organization that helps women faced with injustice all around the world including Muslims and Pakistan where human trafficking runs rampant. What's with everyone wanting Bey to be the spokesperson for every race, country and sexuality? Enough

Its about what is tabboo to widely talk about. While people are already used to talks about racism and black rights (it doesnt mean that its not controversial or not as important though, just that its a common topic that has a lot of supporters), they arent used or comfortable with talking the Middle East issues and muslim issues. Noone is diminishing anything.

For the majority of her career Beyonce was been the safe black girl who white people could trust to not be outspoken, talk about racism, etc. Now she's sinking police cars, smashing police cameras, and affirming her black heritage.
I realize none of this is novel, but to say these actions are calculated to please everyone and protect her image just doesn't make any sense.
