Being black isn't a job. It's not something you need to pass a test to be. There isn't some uniting code among all black people. Black is just an identity. There's no cause to draw inferences about their behaviors on account of their being black. They're just individuals.

A police officer is a position within a system that has a set of rules. When those rules enable police to do bad things and get away with it, and at times encourage that behavior, the system (and everyone in it!) will earn a poor reputation and be (justly) criticized. The good people on the inside and those concerned for them ought to focus on improving things for the better of society rather than lashing out at those upset with things as they are.

I really do not understand why you can't wrap your head around this.
