no idiot, it means you are judged as an individual and not as part of a larger group. One black kid doing something bad is an individual and doesn't reflect on any group. Police officers doing bad **** reflects on the system they operate within and the guidelines they follow. It earns them a bad reputation. It's not the same thing at all.
