I have seen Beyonce in concert and thats the majority of what she does. You could find your local ratchet chick at the club that dances just like her.

defining moments as a dancer where?! not when half of beyonce's performances as a solo artist are ranted and raved about today, more than britney's. what are the britney ones people usually mention? slave correct? and more so for the snake. it's britney stans and white twinks who overhype britney's dancing lol
most of beyonce song's defining moments are the dances that go along with it. crazy in love, single ladies, end of time, run the world, hell even formation the girls were doing the choreography not too long after it came out.
if beyonce wasn't an amazing dancer than her dances wouldn't be so signature and memorable like they are. the last choreo by britney that was memorable probably is me against the music and that's me being nice. i'd say slave honestly

"Dance is not an educational subject.". This statement is just so incredibly thoughtless I don't even know how to properly respond to it. The educational process of dance training enables a dancer to properly execute dance techniques to avoid injury, not to mention the obvious of how to properly do them. Moving with the rhythm of music is called freestyle, a trait that is present in all styles dance.

You tried to diminish the technique involved in African dance by saying "stomping their feet" and "raising their hands to the sky" and comparing it to a pirouette as if that's the pinnacle of dance. MY point was there is technique in African dance so your statement presenting African dance as some inferior to a pirouette is ignorant and dumbfounded on your part. Maybe you should re-read your own posts before replying to me. I live in Africa and am far more educated on the dances here than you so don't insult my intelligence by telling me to re-read something.

No she doesn't. She doesn't understand dance :15 https://youtu.be/2mG0hcc7Twc. Everything Frank is explaining to her falls under what's called organization, which can give dance a sense of dramaturgy, among other things. And when the understanding is absent, consequently, the approach and presentation suffer as well. That, in turn, diminishes the quality of the dance composition. And when you don't UNDERSTAND it, you can't properly APPLY or PRESENT the dance as an art. This is also what makes a dancer a true dancer.

I'm sorry, what? You just posted a video that didn't even show Frank Gatson talking, let alone explaining anything. I'm pretty sure the only person here with no understanding is you.

The same that you say about Beyonce's iconic performances is the same I could say about Britney and her iconic music videos. That argument could go either way and doesnt really prove who's better

"Don't tell me the choreography for "Diva" is not creative."
The costumes might not be right, the lights, etc. He's clearly telling her it's important. That's all part of dance organization. YOU don't understand because you don't know dance beyond a pirouette.

Oh dear, you're clutching at everything, left, right and centre, for this 'drag' aren't you? You seem to be changing topics to grab at anything.
Now Beyoncé saying "Don't tell me the choreography for "Diva" is not creative" means she doesn't understand dance? You're just getting worse and worse. This is flat out hysterical.

Britney could dance, but I'm done with this thread if anyone truly believes Beyoncé can't dance. Bye.

Britney's dancing stuck out more, because she didn't have the vocals to go along with it. It reminds me of Janet and Ciara. Great performers, bad vocals.

The GP does not think of Bey as a dancer though. She's probably not on their radar much now, but she was primarily known for her VOICE. They knew Britney for her dancing, and def NOT her voice. So if you're talking the true GP here, I'd say Britney. If you actually mean casual music fans, I'd say Beyonce.
