Well my theory, and I'm probably wrong but eh, is that the Singles have all been certified based on sales and sale equivalent streams, take Dark Horse for instance which is 10xPlatinum, or has been certified for 10M Sale+Track Equivalent Streams, and if you add the 10M Track Equivalent Streams + Sales to PRISM's number, you'll get 2.7M Albums + Track Equivalent Albums (Sales + Equivalent Streams).
I counted up all the certifications for each single under each album (so for Prism I would get all the certifications for R, U, DH, B, TIHWD) and did what I did up there with Dark Horse with all of them, if that makes any sense.
And the certification numbers (eg; Teenage Dreams 47xP) I rounded up based on how many singles there were and the leftover sales and streams that would be equivalent.

That's actually a great way to estimate, because it isn't easy to know how many streams come from the US. Well done
Very true. The only other way would be to count up the sales separately and record all of the streams and use an approximate US percentage, but there's always the margin of error there with bad approximation, as well as outdated sales receipts. Obviously certs can be outdated too, but that margin of error is probably still less than the one obtained from calculating them separately.

Diplo is a pop producer before being an EDM artist tho. Marinas and the Diamonds' Lies and Beyoncé's End of Time are masterpieces produced by him. Skrillex's productions are cute, but she can can stay away.

Katy should definitely work with Diplo. I don't see why you guys wouldn't want her to do a song with him. He's brilliant tbh. It's not the EDM genre that's the problem, it all depends on the production and how she markets herself. No shade, but the main reason Artpop underperformed was because it was targeted to solely the fans. It was nothing new and gimmicky, people are tired of it and ain't buying that anymore. But Look at Middle by DJ Snake and Roses by The Chainsmokers. EDM isn't dying. She just needs to present herself correctly so she won't be looked down upon and being "girl with only just looks and zero talent with neither artistry nor sense of fashion." :/

Honestly as long as the whole concept of the album is good, the songs are bops, and the looks are okay, I'm fine with whoever the producers are.
