Even Part of Me was the "right" lead choice over Wide Awake and Dressin Up. Wide Awake is obviously the better song, but it doesn't scream "lead single". Part of Me is so instantly catchy on first listen (despite being forgettable after the second) which is what made it the right choice.

The rest are some of her most iconic songs; I Kissed a Girl, California Gurls, Roar, I really don't have to say any more than their titles.

She will come through with the next lead, I'm sure of it. Even if the rest of the era underperforms.
