A black guy dies in some street corner...why hasn't Beyoncé made a speech, why isn't she at the congress? She is only using it to sell records but then...she disappears and blah blah.
But if she wants to, she can, I'm not opposed to it. I don't think it can damage her career. If the pregnancy and the national anthem couldn't, I really don't see much doing it.

Pretty much this. They're going to start expecting her to go above and beyond and want her to take on an activist role, etc; and if she doesn't live up to the expectations, they're going to use that as justification to drag her.

thats exactly it...people have already been doing that since all these race related uprisings have occurred. and even though she's done things like attend the Trayvon Martin rally and paid the bail for protesters during Baltimore riots... plus she's posted certain things on her social media for awareness. none of it is good enough...and we're talking about somebody who is not even a political figure. the same groups of people who trash her & her husband and her child and question things like her intelligence...yet when ish goes down...they want her & her husband to be on the front lines of the issues because of their stardom. so annoying.
its just like what happened months ago...when that article was written bashing her b/c she didn't do some specific thing for the Texas LGBT. the funny thing is...they criticize us for behaving like Beyonce is God...but they want to use her to represent for every cause like she can change the deep seated roots of racism, police brutality & homophobia.
