The episode was good from a storytelling standpoint, like it tied up all the loose ends and such....but I just found it so boring. I expect something like AHS to go out with a big dramatic punch, even if it is messy. This was just meh. Even freak show had a better finale. I mean yeah it was messy and didn't make sense, but the scene of dandy shooting up the camp/his death/Elsa singing Heros and getting taken by Edward Moredrake....that was finale material. If only the rest of the season added up to what we saw in the finale, that is lol.
Coven turned into a hot ****ing mess after Hank shot up Marie's hair parlor. It had a lot of squandered potential. At least Hotel resolved everything cleanly and fulfilled most of its potential.

like, this season had AMAZING binge-watch value with everyone just having a few minutes of screentime per episode. but last episode it was SO dramatic and sally wanted to kill john and stuff and now she's probably some SJW on social media.
this lmao Coven is wonderful in comparison. i personally don't get how anyone could like Hotel over Coven. Hotel is a disaster. i like it, but i am SO glad it's over and i really hope the next season is better. i also hope the show can gain back some viewers if it returns with a good season premise.
