I'm glad there weren't that many lingering plot holes, but I feel like nothing really happened this season. I blame it on the lame Ten Commandments Killer plotline. Having a cacophony of characters from random backgrounds made it feel like Saw w/ ghosts and vampires.
Asylum >> Murder House >> Coven >>> Hotel > Freak Show
Kind of meh finale. I mean I guess it was fine.. I can't think of anything that was left unanswered except the vamp baby and the addiction demon (who turned out to be kind of pointless?)..
I'm also not really a fan of 'and it goes on like this forever' type endings.
But.. Idk.. Maybe it will grow on me and maybe I'll end up liking the fact that Sally is still hanging out drug-free posting to Instagram and stuff. And that Liz and Tristen spend their ghost lives together. And TC's still doing her thing.
Part of me still wishes the Coven just came and burned the hotel down, though.
The Ten Commandments Killer storyline could have honestly slayed but the fact that they gave it away in the first episode involving the WORST character of the season just tarnished what could have been.
Very inconsistent season, but when it was good it was worth it. The Countess was tragically misused. The season should have been her season with a stronger backstory. It was hard to care for any of the characters because they were all over the damn place, and when they were on screen it was usually a mess.
The idea of ghosts was already done and done better in MH. Mess. The 'ancient blood virus' was explained, or not really, and never made sense. I would have preferred if they were traditional vampires.
That being said, the season was decent. I am giving it a 5/10 as a whole at this moment.
i think we can be happy that EVERYONE and their dog is dead* this season, so we probably won't EVER have to experience any of these LOSERS in another season, ever again.

And they're all TRAPPED in the hotel, so there's no chance we'll have to see their musty asses again.
