But the rest of this was straight-up AHS's version of The Final Girl(s), complete with the switch-up of the underdog becoming the hero (?), the "main" characters taking the backburner, the obscene use of lighthearted music in serious scenes, the overuse of voiceovers, the absurd comedic moments, & all.
But I give it, like, a 7.2.

The difference is, Hotel's finale didn't really need to accomplish anything or resolve anything...it had already been resolved. It just had to be entertaining, which it was. It wasn't super eventful, so it wasn't one of the better episodes, but it wasn't bad...they just had to add a bunch of extra fluff to make it an epilogue.
The Final Girls was supposed to resolve what the entire season had been building up to and answer the question that was there since episode 1, and it made it as lackluster as it could have
