I am so ****ing confused. Gaga's ending was *perfect*, but the rest of the episode was a complete mess. How is that guy who died outside of the hotel a ghost?

It's better if you look at it as an epilogue than a finale. All of the plot points except the Lowes were pretty much resolved as of last episode, so it didn't need as much of a normal finale. It showed endings for all of the (non-immortal) characters and it was pretty happy all-around. I like it.
To be honest, it was just a safe rap up. The season as a whole was pretty solid.
