So I faked a convo for as long as the name of the artist would come on and then I said: "The Mariah Carey album" (I didn't know what the name was. i wanted THE album). So another 3 months or so of endless waiting. And then Xmas time arrived and I really got the Music Box album from by aunt. It was the year my parents gave me a stereo too. So Music Box became my first album ever and I played it to death. I played it so many times that a few years later I would need to buy a second copy.
So, I discovered her like most Europeans, in 1994 due to Without You. <3

The first time I heard without you and she belts the first Caaaaan't lieeeeeve I was in awe
And when she belted the second one with the choir i was floored.

You hit the nail right in the head, beside Christina and lil Kim I find it hard to get excited about the other girls. (love them all though)
