It's weird but I mostly love shounen anime
Even though they're full with generic "friends!!!111" bs and stereotypes, I always fall in love with the characters. It's mostly because a lot of shonen I watch have many episodes and I start to feel attached to the characters

1/ FSN is a continuation of FZ. The thing is it has 3 routes and each one focuses on certain characters/aspects. Saber was focused in Fate route (2006 anime), UBW route focused on Rin and Archer (2014 anime), and last route Heaven's Feel is about Sakura.
2/ You should rewatch UBW because Gilgamesh and Saber did recognize each other.

It probably flew over my head since I watched FSN first. But I need to rewatch it...i've rewatched all the fight scenes over the last couple of days though.

I guess i'll wait for Heaven's Feel to see if it will answer my questions and other confusion.

I'm a sucker for that stuff too. People always trash Fairy Tail for that, but it makes me cry

I know what you mean but I kinda enjoy it more than OP or Bleach these days. The whole END storyline is pretty interesting.

I've always enjoyed anime because episodes are usually really short and they're fun to get invested in for the plot. But a lot of anime tropes KILL me, I just can't. The idiot male protaganist that slowly progresses to OP power levels seasons later. The constant reinforcement of misogyny and sexism. The way that so many anime's have these awful slice of life episodes interspersed into actually interesting plot. All the humor that is so clearly garbage.

I realized all of this watching Reborn. I read the manga forever ago and loved it so I decided to watch the anime. I'm on episode 35 and I swear I've skipped at least 15-20 episodes cause lord have mercy I felt like I was atrophying

edit- Obviously they're not all like this, I"m just ranting cause i'm disappointed, ki

the thing about reborn! is that the first like 34 episodes are kind of filler-y. it isn't until the varia arrive that things start picking up. tsuna is actually one of my favorite anime characters :-(

ok to all the people who recommend me Gurren lagann and said that its awesome....




i am stuck in the middle and i really dont want to watch it but damn me and my habit to finish what i start

i really dont get what was the big fuss about it its like watching anime looney toons... and yeah i get why some can find it amusing (its wacky and fun i guess) but when people tell me something its awesome i expect something like code geass and berserk...

edit: wait i read it has a time skip and thats where the good stuff comes in... ok thats promising let me start watching it again tonight...
