I was just answering your query on why Obama doesn't do anything. It's because he (and the Democrats) simply can't.

The Republicans have a majority in Congress right now, and that party strongly opposes gun control, very much due to the NRA lobby. Gun control legislation will never pass through the current Congress.

Obama can only do what other congress agree or sign off on. He does not have as much power as yall think. He cant just snap his fingers and remove guns. Its a process that goes through a bunch of other people.
