With the frequency of the shootings, not even a quarter of them get covered by the national media. Anyway,this is a massacre...12 people dead already. You really can't expect people the media to sweep this under the rug

That's such a good point. But then again, the media is so wrong with so many things, if only more people that work in the media would think beyond ratings and money.
So, obviously this is terrible, but as of right now, no one has been reported as dead. Victim, in this case, means that the person has been shot. The extent of the injuries hasn't been reported as of yet. I'm assuming there will be casualties, but I hope that there aren't
