I don't get the hate for I Do What I Love, at least it's a fairly memorable song. There are a dozen others that just get lost in the tracklist and I can't remember how they go.
This album is so hit or miss all the time, i think it would have worked best if only 12-14 songs made the final cut including the intro which I like very much.
Hi. I am the co-writer of The Kritikon Company blog. I just wanted to issue an apology to anyone we may have offended with our review of Delirium. I knew that posting it on ATRL would lead to some backlash but didn't think it would be taken quite so seriously.
It was an unbiased review. My boyfriend John is a pretty big Ellie Goulding fan actually and we were both just very disappointed with the quality. Most of it was down to the production I think.
Please take into consideration that we are British and our sense of humour can be a bit dry (well very dry in the case of this review) so I apologise if that got lost with some of you.
We named ourselves Kritikon for a reason. We are critical when it comes to music, and I do feel like too many reviewers these days are too praising so we've taken the opposite approach.
I understand that all three of the reviews posted (Red, Delirium and Metallica) have been somewhat negative (less so in the case of Red) but please know that we are picking these albums at random and they just haven't clicked with us. Delirium has Love Me Like You Do, Lost and Found and Scream It Out which I think are pretty decent pop songs. So please be aware that I do not hate or dislike Ellie Goulding in any way and I'm sorry if I led you to believe I did.
I was really upset going to bed last night after all of this happened, so I really am very, very sorry for upsetting you all. I hope you can manage to not hate me.
Just listened to the album while playing a game, so i couldn't pay much attention to the details of each song. But i loved Army and Holding On For Life immediately.
I don't get how Holding On For Life is the most played album track on Spotify when no one seems to be going crazy for it I imagine Codes will overtake it soon.
Wow, is that so? People have great taste it seems. I also loved HOFL since the 1st listen
