Yes, we may have been harsh in our review but we felt we were fair. Just because our taste in music is different to yours, does not mean we deserved that. We rated some of them pretty highly actually so stop taking everything so personally.

Track 6 - Around U:
John: This sounds like a song that the F.B.I. would lock you in an interrogation room and make you listen to for 24 hours, in hope that you will talk. But I probably wouldn't, because I would be dead from loss of blood from my ears. Yes ladies and gents, this is the soundtrack to my death. It's that bad. Nothing else to say really. It's absolutely awful. 1/10

Tilly: It sounds like this could be on a soundtrack to a low budget kids' movie. Ugh. Think Meghan Trainor but a whole lot worse (didn't even realise that was possible). No redeeming qualities about this whatsoever. And as for the way the title is spelt - what are we, in the early noughties? 1.5/10

Track 18 - I Love What I Do:

John: This is downright awful. It sounds like a filler song on a Minaj album, and it pains me to say that because Ellie shouldn't have to be mentioned in the same breath. This doesn't sound like an Ellie Goulding track at all. It sounds overly commercial and like it was made and produced in a day. Not impressed. 1/10

Tilly: If this is what you love doing Ellie, please do it elsewhere, preferably somewhere we don't have to be subjected to **** like this. It's an absolutely abysmal song. Her vocals do not sound like her in anyway. In fact, nothing about I Love What I Do shows any trace of Ellie Goulding. It sounds more like a song a former Disney star would release to show that they've 'grown up'. This wasn't even good enough to be included as a bonus track. 0.5/10

I Love What I Do is a guilty pleasure song. It's like pop M.I.A. lite.

How the hell does Aftertaste, SITWYM, Keep On Dancin', OMM and Don't Panic sound like Taylor Swift or 1989??

Cause none of those songs (maybe SITWYM, but that's still a reach) would fit on that album.

Plus your review has spelling errors, and that alone already discredits your review

This has to be one of the worst reviews from an album I've seen. Even if this were reviewing an album I hate it'd still be cringeworthy how juvenile sounding it is and just overall how poorly written it is.

this lmao, they obviously aren't a fan of her because they don't even get the idea of the opening track which bridges Halcyon with this album, instead trying to drag it for no reason, also what is the point of reviewing stuff as a couple if you both have a blatant biased opinion, i'd give up on journalism tbh or blogging

The Greatest for sure <3

Around You is one of the only songs that I would even consider deleting from the album (along with Don't Panic). Those are the only two that approach filler territory for me. (Though I still rated them both 8/10.)
