Nah it's the best pop album released by a pop girl the last decade. If anything it's very underrated by critics as well as in real life, not overrated at all.
People who called it overrated must have really trashy taste. Poor them.

Being an executive producer means nothing, she didn't write nor produce the album. She just told the producers what sound she wanted to work with. The album simply isn't influential and that writer has 0 credibility.

It is overrated by the Britney stans here on ATRL, and I would say that the following albums are certainly better than it: The Best Damn Thing, Good Girl Gone Bad, and Rated R, among others.

I'm not even a Rihanna fan, because I don't like the way she makes her albums, but both of those are solid pop records.

Then you should explain why ATRL doesn't have more Bob Dylan, David Bowie, and Bruce Springsteen stans. Most members only use what they are exposed to by radio and tumblr, so basically successful artists of the day.
