I'm liking this season so far, but I can pretty much script it, or at least how it'll end.

The Countess will abuse her power, will turn too many people into vampires and against her, they'll overturn her and she'll end up dying. And in the end the people who were hurt by her will be happy and go home in a wheelbarrow.

Not ONE series of AHS where that hasn't happened. It's always the same ending, what happens to get to that point is just what determines what's good about that season.

I think the idea of John being the 10CK and Alex being a vampire now, like The Countess and Mr March and in the end John and Alex ending up as the owners of the Hotel is cool and not that far fetched either

Tbh, I was hoping that the only super natural thing this season was going to be Gaga as a vampire. It would have made it much better if everything else was just ****ed up humans killing ****, and her pulling strings behind the scenes as a super natural being.

Glad they didn't. So many AHS fans were mad that "Lange got replaced by Gaga" that it would not be smart to make Gaga a main straight in the first season, especially when she hasn't earened het stripes yet when it comes to acting. This was a better way to introduce her to the public.

I would say Ghosts can't interact with vampires, but Donovan has interacted with Sarah after he turned. Unless she is a vampire too, but I'm not sure. It could explain something as to why Sarah and Gaga never interact.

She found her son seemingly unaged, in a random hotel, and didn't take him to the hospital/call the police/tell her husband. Then she takes his temperature and he's like, dead-levels of cold and she just gets him some juice. Then he eats the dog & she takes him back to where she found him. Like, wtf?

They're clearly starting to go over the top with this season & it's starting to ruin it for me.

True, but I think she was just really overwhelmed and kind of had a weird mix of emotions, and wasn't really thinking straight.

With the Harmons, they did want to leave but they couldn't, and probably didn't realize the severity of it until it was too late. It was too late when they realized the full extent and truth of what was going on in the house.

I never watched the past seasons so I can't compare.

I think the pilot was DEFINITELY very over the top....a lot more out there than most episodes of AHS, especially when you don't really know what's going on yet But it has calmed down since then.

I thought it was just me, but several other people in this thread have said the same thing....her acting was just like it was in the first episode (whereas she showed a significant improvement on the 2nd and 3rd episodes) and her hair/makeup was also the same I think there's a good chance some of these scenes were filmed around the same time.

The episode as a whole also kinda reminded me of the first episode, in the sense that it didn't really move the plot a whole lot but it just set up a lot of things...left you with a lot of questions that they'll be answering next episode.

This was the most disturbing episode of AHS I've ever seen, (and I've never really found the show scary), maybe because half the characters we saw were real people. The effect was probably a lot more striking if you knew who all of those people were since there wasn't a lot of explanation, but seeing Jeffery Dahmer portrayed onscreen, with that guy, ughhgh. And Lily Rabe was insanely good. Her eyes and expression the entire time were just

But, probably not a popular opinion on here, Gaga is really dragging the show down. To work as a character I think the Countess needs to be sexy and scary, and she's giving off neither. The only thing worse is Alex. Idk if they're trying to make her deeply unlikable, but having her literally say she loved her son more than her daughter last episode, and then becoming a vampire without a single thought of Scarlett just for Holden is so bizarre and selfish.
