I would just love a official press release from the label letting us know if it's coming is year. That's all they need to do!!

I don't think they really need to announce it. Cause the hype for what? Seems like the whole plan they are setting up is to keep things quiet until the single is about to drop. Adele didn't stay quiet this whole time for them to start hyping it like Lady Gaga imo. Anyways the news has already spread so people are anticipating it. Too many places have confirmed Adele is coming so its just a patient waiting game at this point

I really want the lead single to come out on October 30. If we get Adele on the cover of Rolling Stone USA next week, there would be one week for the media to build up hype till the song drops!

I know. I was just thinking about how HDD said to expect a single the first or second week of November... the latter doesn't make sense at all with what Columbia already has going on with 1D, the former seems strange if they're right about ANTI.

I didn't realize this yesterday, but I suppose the same thing that could be done with a 11/6 RS cover could also be done on 10/23. Announcement on Wednesday, then cover and single in one fell swoop on Friday. No Ari or Rih in the way there. Also more gap between single and album, it'll have a few more weeks to fully impact radio before the full album is delivered. Less than a week from a single just feels too close to be true, though...

Yeah I kinda don't want a 30th release since I'm moving that weekend But I see how it can be beneficial. The 6th is also a fairly good date as well though

I think it's entirely possible to be straight up happy and not be cheesy so I don't think that she needs to go bittersweet in order to avoid being cheesy. There are a few artists who can be happy without being cheesy. However, if she wants to give us bittersweet happiness then I'm all for it.
