Why would she release her album on the same day as Adele's lead single? I guess it's possible...different buyer demographics and a different type of product. But, it would still cause for a major media coverage clash one would think.
Maybe Adele's single is actually coming October 30th? Connects back to the HDD "Adele, Adele and Adele: It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, and
it's not even Halloween yet", would align better with a 10/23 RS cover, no conflict with Rih.
Furthermore, despite HDD presenting the possibility, going back a week to 10/13 for Adele's single makes no sense. Columbia wouldn't seemingly push forward 1D from the 20th to a battle with Bieber and then also begin Adele's release schedule on the same day. Plus a lone week between a single and the album just feels...wrong.
Although it's already a couple weeks old and 21 was still in production the month before RITD came out so I have faith.
