I have two absolute favorites. One was posted in a blog here once ("We Still Have Tonight") and the other is something I've never shared with anyone because I love it so much I don't want to put it out there. Both were inspired by Achilles and Patroclus. My dream is lowkey to write an entire album revolving around them. I've already been working on it for like 4 years.


I have a different, unrelated, song that I love that I can envision alternatively as a happy piano ballad or as a big gay Cher dance anthem.

No, thats not me singing either.

I wrote the lyrics (it was actually half of the song, I hadn't finished it) and I sent it to a friend who put it to guitar and sung it.

It was about a rejection online

That sounds really interesting! Such a cool source for inspiration too.

Most of my inspirations are basic. The amount of times it was just raining and I thought of a song concept

My faves, and the two songs I'd keep for my own personal album if I ever became an artist, are Wilderness and Nothing Is Forever (my Wildest Dreams blueprint).

Both were synth pop inspired songs, and both were from PH.

I'm trying to work on adding more imagery to my songs, and I think this does a decent job at it. Obviously I could expand on it, but this particular song I think is fine as is.

Honorable mention to One Time Deal, which was my scrapped song for the round I submitted IDNY. I still sing it to myself sometimes. It would've been the catchiest song I submitted that season.
