Emma's only bad acting job was in Freak Show, which I have absolutely no doubt is your only reference for this outrageous and borderline-offensively-ignorant claim.
Watch Palo Alto & Adult World, and the three episodes (four tomorrow) we have of Scream Queens, and then rewatch Coven, because given good material (i.e. not Freak Show), Emma is fantastic.

This is going to be so uncomfortable to watch with my family. I want them to watch it so that they see Gaga, and we've watched all the other seasons together, but I don't know if it's worth being that uncomfortable just so they can see Gaga act. I should've said Freak Show was the last season 
The nudity, the religion, the horror, the *****, and the 6 minute sex scene? like really 6 minutes..  This is going to be hell, because I want my family to like it as well..

It's AHS. We've seen a man in a gimp suit impregnate a woman who thought it was her husband, a nun rape a priest, a woman molest her sun, a mentally ill man have sex with conjoined twins, and then a whole mess of violence, and now you're complaining?

I'm not complaining. I'm simply expressing how uncomfortable watching this with my family is going to be. It's fair to say it sounds like they've amped up every element this season. "More blood, more gore." also we've never seen an explicit sex scene, especially one that runs 6 minutes long, and is a foursome, and features Lady Gaga.
I mean I was uncomfortable with Denis O'Hare last year, and him having a massive penis, and they didn't even show that, but just the discussion of him possibly showing us I was like dear god, no please.
Obviously it's American Horror Story, and I love the show otherwise I wouldn't watch, it just sounds like a very uncomfortable sitting with my family. Especially because I enjoy the show, and they might be like how can you actually enjoy this? On top of that my fave is in it, and sitting through anything Gaga related whilst they are watching gets my adrenaline rushing.

I find Emma to be great, but as the same bitchy type character. I'm not sure how good she is with anything else. Granted I may be wrong due to not really seeing her in anything else.

Soz Emma isn't a bad actor, she was actually one of the greatest moments in Coven. She was a mess in Freak Show, but that also came down to terrible writing and direction for her character. The people that call Emma Roberts a bad actor, would be in the similar vein that call Jennifer Aniston a bad actor, and I just don't agree with that. Some people unfortunately get stuck with type-casting and they can't really break that mould until a director/writer takes that chance on them aka Jennifer Aniston in Cake.
