There's no word just yet, however Antuan is very enthusiastic with the progress so far.

The first beta wasn't as bugged as he thought it would be.

If I had to guess, I would say maybe, late October/early November, but don't hold me to that. It really depends on how well beta 2 goes.

He's just trying to fix the finances as it was bugged in beta 1, then he'll release beta 2 and the forum will be alive again. (well the beta thread anyway)

Although he's not posting, he's still working. There's nothing really for him to say since most of the bugs were reported, it's just the finances.

Cool Britney Spears just somehow got Kanye west THE ARTIST to produce 4 tracks for her album. She has now also developed a relationship with him ( not romantic!) so might want to use him again in the future.

Yes artists can produce as well and wont needs to have a producer profile.

One of the reasons for the delays has been I have been constantly unhappy with the production screen layouts. Im pleased to say ive finally settled on one.

One last update before I get some sleep! With the new database comes my ability to now limit artist activities. An example would be. If an artist is say touring they wont be able to produce your artists track so wont be an option. This same logic is used elsewhere. Artists can only do two things in one day generally.

Road to Success Game

Artists will not pick the producer/studio and some other bits unless they have a relationship. The reason for this is a lot of artists use the same producer over time. However the game will also break these relationships. Also a rock artist producing a teen pop wont be allowed. Criteria is set for this. I know there is some examples of things kinda like this happening but its not frequent.

Good News: Testing the second beta of MWR3 today and benchmarking about 4-5 seconds loading per turn, which means it takes around 16 seconds to sim a month in the game, 48 seconds to sim 3 months, and just a few minutes to simulate a whole year! ‪#‎MusicWars‬

Also, beta 2 was released to us testers today!
