A lot of it is still in in the air isn't it. Quite frankly 90% of Poland does not want help immigrants.
For them there is a clear distinction between regufees and immigrants. Refugees are not faced with such harsh critics, still not very welcome tho. There are a few reasons for that.
Bruto income is 800 euro, unemployment 10.5% for youth it's 22%.
There is no welfare in place for Polish people so people are annoyed that this would have to be created only for the immigrants/refugees while Polish people themselves get nothing.
They already took in tens of thousands Ukrainians (with open arms I may add) over the last 2-3 years that ran accross the border when **** hit the fan yet nobody has mentioned that in the media.
Polish people feel it's a problem of the west and the US since they wanted to stick their nose where it didn't belong or wanted to colonize parts of the world where they had no business and thus they should clean up that mess themselves.
