From what I've seen, it seems to be somewhat evenly split between some black people thinking it's reclaiming and some finding it offensive to the people before them. It's just confusing and hard to understand and since I want to understand the issue better

White people talk about how they want things to be "equal" between black and white people so they should be allowed to use it. But you never see them talking about black income inequalities, black health inequalities, black education inequalities (i.e. the equality that ACTUALLY matters).

Because people have different opinions? Just like anything else? Its still their choice whether they want yo use it or not and its nobodies, especially not a white persons, place to tell them otherwise.
