The US isn't really here for white pop girl groups. I really don't mean to sound racist because it's not what I'm implying at all, but the truth is that if America is gonna embrace one, it's gonna be one with an R&B-oriented sound and girls of color or mixed (Destiny's Child, Fifth Harmony, Danity Kane, Pussycat Dolls, etc.)

The Spice Girls happened almost 20 years ago and they didn't even last that long in the US. I don't really ever see that type of group happening again unless teen pop has a random resurgence.

I believe it was also performed on the Wendy Williams show, GMA, Good Day New York, and Watch What Happens Live.

UK is their main market, and are doing well in different arts of the world. They're currently doing well in the US with Black Magic anyway so they're coming!

I don't believe now is the time to blow up - because Directioners will knock them down (specifically Perrie) because they'll think she's a selfish bitch.

I also believe their music is just generic pop, no UMPH to it. But they can do them and get money.

I think it's more to do with their personalities; they come across bland and uninteresting to a lot of americans and perhaps that's why their music hasn't done as well. I was surprised that Wings and Move didn't do anything. Black Magic is their most radio-friendly single to date and if it doesn't do anything after all the promo this week I don't think the US is for them.

However, they've had brilliant success in Europe and UK so like Rita they're household names there

They are getting bigger and bigger worldwide each era. I think Black Magic will be a top 40 hit in the US at least.

This has nothing to do with it. Girl groups just aren't popular in the US.

And besides you shouldn't want them to be. Every girl group that has had success in the US had a super short career. It's a curse.

In the past (2010 - 2014) it was simply because girl groups in general weren't doing well.

Now that Worth It has smashed, Little Mix could get a big hit imo. If one of their singles can go top 10 on pop radio it'll be a hit.

I feel their talent. Just the singles they released cannot get people taking seriously. Their songs have so much going on just about for fun and entertaining. At least I dun heard their any songs that Id be like "Oh, you speak my heart"
