Not me running again to the shops to get a new TV for her tour DVD.

Last time it was for the 3D Blu-Ray and it has to work with the glasses used in the cinemas/theaters.

Not a chance, sadly. She won't properly tour there again until her next worldwide tour.

Omg is this confirmed? I'm not really a huge Katy fan but the Prismatic World Tour looked really cool and I have a 4K TV that's dying for music content so I'd be ecstatic if it was actually getting a 4K release

Not yet, but the 4K Blu-Ray standard has been finalised and 4K Blu-Ray players are going to appear in retail in a few months.

It's already in a Sony advertorial. Will the tour "DVD" be one of the first 4K discs? A showcase for 4K like BBC Planet Earth was the showcase for 1080p.

Planet Earth has busy scene that could bring the Blu-Ray players on it's knees, thus every player was tested with that scene. I can't wait to see every 4K player being judged with a busy scene from the PWT 4K release.

Will it premeire on the 10th anniversary of BBC Planet Earth premeire?
