Stephanie Valencia. What could have been
I like Kelley Wentworth, so I'm not really mad about it. I would've rather taken out Abi-Maria because I want to see more game and less overdramatics, but maybe she'll change my opinion

More highlights from Shane's interview:
- It looks as though the 4 people "solid" alliance Shane was in consisted of Terry Deitz, Andrew Savage (potentially), and Jeff Varner/Jeremy (potentially) based on how fond he was talking about these people
- It was implied that he had an "understanding" with Vytas, though he was not gonna fully trust him
- From their interactions, Spencer, Ciera, Monica, and Vytas seemed to be in an alliance together
- He thinks Kass, Ciera, Joe, Spencer, and Stephen are in early danger
- Kass was all over the place, desperate for an alliance
- Kelley Wentworth and Keith seem to be lone wolves going in this; although Kelley could have OTHER alliances elsewhere
-
My two cents:
- Kass, Spencer, Joe, Shirin, Stephen, and Ciera are in early dangers. Stephen, Spencer, and Shirin are better off than the other two.
- Monica, Kelly Wiglesworth, Kimmi, Jeff, Peih-Gee, Woo, and Keith are in a good spot going in
- Jeremy, Terry, Andrew, and Tasha are up in the air.

Keith and Woo shouldn't even be on this cast. Useless. Shane is the much better choice as far as second chance as well as entertainment

I somewhat agree and somewhat disagree with your post.
I do agree that BOTH Keith and Woo were not needed this season; however, one of them - preferably Keith - deserved to be there. Keith and Woo are similar in a lot of ways; they're both athletic, unassuming, clueless, funny, and genuinely nice. Although we, as hard-core fans, would love to see Shane in the place of Keith/Woo, I think the combination of Shane and Keith would have been better than the current one of Keith and Woo. We already have train-wreck sort of characters in Abi-Maria and Kass, so the lack of Shane in that department is not do-or-die. Don't get me wrong, I think his inclusion would have been an even better entertainment but Keith is also an entertaining character himself. Woo, on the other hand, is not necessary in the least bit.
Y'all do the absolute most with Keith though. Yes, he's not a game but he's entertaining to watch because of his clueless tendencies. He's an endearing character to say the least and he does not have a mean bone in his body. Also, think of it this way: since both Keith and Woo have proven to be loyal and clueless people, they can be essential in helping real gamers like Stephen get farther in the game IF they form an alliance. Plus, we don't need 20 out of 20 gamers in the game, we need some unpredictable and "entertainment" based characters.

But this is why we have Kass, Abi, Kimmi, and Jeff as entertainers who are also gamers. Keith and Woo are wholly unnecessary. I rather they have put on Max and Shane onto this season, preferably Shane.

First and foremost, what evidence is there to support the notion that Kimmi and Jeff are gamers? They're both entertaining, sure, but I don't know about gamers.
I agree having both Keith and Woo is pointless but having only one of them there, preferably Keith, is not the end of the world. In fact, I think it's a welcomed change from the likes of Jeremy, Andrew Savage, Spencer, Stephen, etc who are gonna be gamebots. Think of it like this, not everyone in Heroes v. Villains or Fans v. Favorite (Micronesia) were gamers but those are seasons were incredible.

With Kimmi and Jeff, they did the RHAP interview, and they came off as gamers to me

To me, both their interviews were heavily focused recapping and commenting on Australia more than anything. Even then, it doesn't mean they're not aware of the how much the game has changed.

True. I didn't vote for Kimmi or Abi tbh because I thought that there's be better players like Stephanie Valencia and T-Bird

Not voting for Kimmi/Abi, like, do some people actually *want* a non-entertaining season?

I dont know about Kimmi, but Jeff was one of the very few people back in the early seasons who understood it was a game first and foremost, not about survival/enjoying who you are with. Actual gaming was very limited in the first couple seasons, but he was one of the few people (along with T-Bird actually) who were savvy in gameplay.
Anyway as long as Peih-Gee makes Top 5 and Kass gets to blindside either Spencer or Tasha, preferably both in the pre-merge, I'm happy. And hopefully a girl can win this season. I'm ready for an all winners season soon and the girls side doesn't have as many options to pick from.

I suppose so. I don't actually remember Jeff's gameplay per se, mainly because the first few seasons were draining in regards to the little to no emphasis on strategist, but I knew that he was aware of the change in the nature of the game. I was also aware, from their interviews at least, that both T-Bird and Jeff were a lot more knowledgeable about how much Survivor has changed as opposed to someone like Terry, Kelly Wiglesworth, or Kimmi. Regardless, I'm excited about seeing all of these people play.

I hope T-Bird gets another chance later down the road, the look of disappointment in her face killed me.

I would love to hear from Max, Jim Rice (as much as I dislike him), and a few others just to hear about the pre-game alliances.

Pre-gaming is always such a mess and it never works out. We'll see how much this actually affects the game in a month and a half I guess.
EDIT: I find it hilarious how messy Kass was apparently being. I can't wait to see her on this season.

I'm happy you think most of my potential draft is in a good position.

Yeah, pre-gaming almost always lead to bitter juries. It's funny because pretty much everybody swore they were not pre-gaming.
I fear for Kass. Her frantic pre-gaming suggests to me that no one is really thinking about seriously aliening with her. I believe she is in the most danger pre-merge. After the merge, however, I think she will be far better off. This isn't to say that everything is set in stone but yeah.
