I did NOT compare the SB with the Oscars. One is completely local while the other is more global but that's not the point. But was Jennifer Hudson invited to perform the prestigious 50th TSOM tribute? Did she break the twitter/fb/google with her tribute performances?
Edit: And JHud like u said was never an A list. Gaga is and will always be an A list. Her viral performance proved people are still curious to see what she does/how hard she slays.

You can't base this on the Oscar thing or her going viral on the red carpet. If Cher wore another provocative red carpet look like the VMAs a couple years ago and everyone talked about it and she trended worldwide for 72 hours, she would not suddenly become a major relevant factor again.

By your logic Rihanan wasn't an A list when she grossed the same as artRAVE with the Loud tour in 2011, Katy wasn't an A List because Born This Way outsold Teenage Dream in 2011, etc..

That doesn't make any sense, once you reached the A list statue, they will not take it away from you... she sold 130m+ records and outsold so many people and grossed 500m she IS an A list whether you like it or not.
