Anyone who disagrees that Red is superior has a total flop taste in music.
I just hope the academy wont be biaised about Fearless's win and snub 1989 because I d rather see her lose with Fearless and win it with 1989.

I'm not coming for U2, I like them, I'm just showing that to make a rock/alt-rock song the lyrics don't have to be "And I m bleeding and I m bleeding right before the Lord, all words are gonna bleed for me and and I will think no more"

well rock lyrics aint direct, they re very imaged, like Stairway to heaven or hotel california...you can sing about love and being rock, but you need to use clever metaphors

SOG is a good rock song and amongst Taylor's best songs period.

I love State of Grace. I also love U2.
Everyone has different tastes.
Taylor and Bono are different artists, hence different writing styles. Not sure why people act as if this is surprising or pretending SOG doesn't use metaphors. Pretty sure that cannonball line was not a literal event.

the majority of Red is just heavenly. the 1-2-3-4-5 punch of SOG, R, T, IKYWT, and ATW is amazing.
if she had just ditched 2-3 of the crappy songs and rearranged the tracklist, it'd be her best
