hum I m not saying the themes should be different, you talk about love and being a rock act, but the way she translates it into lines, for instance here s one of the most praised rock songs about love "I've been roaming around always looking down at all I see, painted faces, fill the places I cant reach, you know that I could use somebody , someone like you, and all you know and how you speak,countless lovers under cover of the street" ...tbh Clean and Safe and Sound's lyrics are more "rock" than SOG's for instance.
