Who said she's trying to make commentary?  Why are people turning this into some political statement. She's just saying not every women (including herself) wants to be that traditional woman.
You clearly just don't get it. Who said anything about not being able to do things. The video did go over your head. Its about having the right of not being expected to do things.

I am acutely aware that her songs are not meant to be taken 100% seriously, but her lyrics still have very real implications and perpetuate regressive stereotypes, both about women and how they're to be treated. She is
of course free to live her life as an oppressed '60s housewife, but when she makes songs for impressionable children, promoting these ugly standards for
them to absorb, it's an issue.
You're the one who seems to be implying it's commentary. You keep saying that everything about this song is supposed to be "sarcastic." If she's truly being satirical with such broad topics, I can only assume she's trying to make some comment about
something. Satire has to have some underlying meaning. But there isn't one here.
