I'd pretty much guarantee that she does. She hasn't missed a show since her debut. And if she doesn't win Sunday, I'm concerned about her chances for a 2016 nomination with no plans for music and her tour going so long. We may not see her again until the 2017 Grammys after Sunday

Am kinda disappointed tbh. Like the bullying by the monsters + other fans has been so intense that some of you guys are scared to defend Katy now I feel. I can tell you right now I'm sure. Absolutely sure that she had a large portion of live vocals. Roar and Firework's choruses were live. Yes, the ones with those great high notes.
If you listen to the superbowl, you notice she has the exactly same inflections and vocal subtleties as her tour performances. Like I saw one cat say it was completely lipsynced. No, use your brain. She mixed lipping + live vocals.

Anyway that's my mini meltdown.

I mean it's pretty clear if you have eyes and ears that she was singing the majority of it live. Those fast runs in Firework and a couple of songs would have been near impossible to mime. I mean she obviously did have to for some of the transitions, but it was evident that a lot of it where it could be done was live. She even missed out a line to take a breath in one song (Teenage Dream I think?) and there was no back track played there.

People who are saying she lipped the entire thing are simply wrong.
