Anyway, I am not very surprised with the results. My drive for this game sadly fell flat in the past few weeks, but I wish it hadn't. It would have been cool to make the finale, but 5th place is great too! (My second 5th placing on ATRL in less than a week
)
Overall, I am pleased but disappointed with my work in this competition. I feel like my work was consistently solid, but never went to the next level. I never hit the bottom until this week, but could never win a challenge either. I think I have to tap into my emotions even more, and not approach songwriting as systematically as I did in certain rounds. Hopefully, I will be able to come up with some more diverse rhythmic schemes and melodies. I do think with some tweaking, however, some of the songs I wrote could have a viable future.
I want to thank all of the judges for their hard work and comments and ridiculous hints every week! It was so fun trying to decipher those. I think you have definitely given me plenty of feedback to work off of should I explore songwriting in the future. Congratulations to the finalists and good luck! I can't wait to see what the end result is, but no matter what a very talented writer will win. Congrats to ausdaniel for 4th place -- I really thought you were going to make it to the end, but 4th is AMAZING and you have the best song of the season, so believe in yourself and your talent, babe.
Last thank you goes to the wonderfully stupid GotSkill -- I am so proud of you for acing your first ever game on here. I remember how excited you were to start a few months ago, and I am really happy to see this game become a huge success. You put a lot of dedication and creativity into this, and you deserve all of the posts and views (even if you were a little over-zealous with getting to the next page
). But, really and truly, I am so excited that you had a great hosting experience. Thank you for everything, and once again I must say that your challenge concepts were top notch. They definitely made me think!

) Never for a minute did I actually imagine that I'd be in the final three after placing fifth in the last challenge... I guess being that close to elimination made something in me know that I had to do whatever it would take to be here, I just feel so happy and confused that I somehow jumped from last to first and averaging second by 0.1 points.

There was a blank space in the Top 3 with ha name on it but she got lost in wonderland and flopped. I wish you would just get over it and accept that this love has come to an end between Euphoressay and you now that you made the Top 3 and she didn't. Poor it. That's not how you get the prize.
