 But Allstar just posted about  The Piano - a very well-directed film.
I posted about Kathryn Bigelow who directed Zero Dark Thirty and The Hurt Locker - two very well-directed films.
And then you have 'Lost in Translation' which is one of the best films (direction-wise too) of the new millennium.
This year you had Selma, The Babadook, Obvious Child, and Citizenfour alone which are all excellent films.
