Sofia Coppola's films are boring and overrated and border on terrible, but the fact that she's everyone's only example of a "good female director" is pretty humourous in itself. Coppola is pulling an Angelina Jolie to try to save her career, though -- she's directing a Disney movie, "The Little Mermaid." It will probably be terrible, as well.
