With African Americans its even worse. Most white people can trace their original background (Italian, German, Irish) whatevs. Black Americans only know that they were once from Africa. No way to trace which one of the 50 or so countries they're originally from

Even 'Soul Food' is basically just Southern food from White people in the South.
