Azealia Banks is so annoying, delusional, ignorant, shes a joke. Why does a genre in 2014 needed to be classified race, why does it need to be closed down for blacks only? This is how racism and conflict starts in general when you start, allowing only certain persons or races to so something and not other people allowed.
Music should be for everyone, and no put into categories, black people should be happpy other cultures embraces the culture they started, in should be a psositive thing.
I find it disgusting that she says black people are only allowed to do hp hop or be succesful in that genre.
At the end of the day its the public who made Iggy succesful and bought her music! Nobody forced them!

not you trying to write this insightful paragraph and missing the entire point too
it's NOT about being successful....

Homophobia is acceptable for several people here, from what I've seen in the lounge area.

Considering she didn't compromise AT ALL, I'm pretty sure the only thing she was aiming for was to pay her bills. Otherwise she would have rolled over and made generic top 40 material.

I didn't say WE are ghetto. I am talking about the GHETTOS that black cultures are placed in.
For example. Beyonce is a global superstar, but her records are only played on R&B and Urban radio. She has songs that are and can be listened to as Pop-ular music, but she is tied down to and only promoted through black radio stations. It doesn't even have to be Bey, what about Usher? Usher is such an appropriate superstar that has done r&b, pop and the whole likes. Why is it that JT is considered the "President of Pop" because he crossed over perfectly in R&B and gets more credit for that than his counter part who happens to black? I mean, I'm to tired to get into this now, but it hurts. Iggy is from Australia at the end of the day. She does not know the struggles blacks had to go through in the music industry. She doesn't understand that all her "faves" back in the day who she loves...She doesn't know the real struggles that ended their career. She doesn't understand why she is able to break out faster than they have ever could of dreamed of in their lifetime and be able to continue a career they wasn't because of how they was confided within a ghetto that even record labels didn't want them out of. It's serious and she think AB is coming at her because she is just white. Please, it's deeper than her tacky fame and whatnot.

I just LAUGH at the fact that the same people who stan for the homophobic, rape victims shaming, whites shaming, Nazi-like minded Azealia yet have the nerve to come for anyone's political incorrectness. I mean seriously, they're gonna crash the server with their ironic posts.

She wouldn't have signed on Interscope had she not wanted that for herself. What I think happened is she was so set on making it, and was so sure (**** everyone was, everyone around her kept telling her that. Even we kept saying it). She was (and still is) IT! And when her label kept telling her what she was turning in wasn't enough, she probably felt disenfranchised. I mean who wouldn't at that point?
But you know, instead she went ahead and switched it up and focused on at least getting her music heard and out there.
You can't sit here and refute the fact that she still shot for that mainstream success at first tho. I don't get why people try to sit here and say it like AB was never about that at some point.

Maybe she wanted it on her terms.

Zero sympathy (at least with the bashing head against a wall & venomous person comments. If Iggy's saying racist t Azealia **** I didn't see that tweet)

So I've noticed. I find it especially hilarious when people who scream racism are the first to excuse something like homophobia though. Hypocrisy in its purest form.
Seriously, anything in that kind of category is utterly vile and repulsive: sexism, racism, homophobia... You name it, I'm against it. And Azealia's homophobia isn't even debateable, she straight up calls people f****ts and said that's a word do "girly men."

Those tweets are old as hell. Everyone has said something offensive in their life. Not saying it in the future shows improvement and being a better person.
Meanwhile Azealia Banks just called Perez Hilton a ******
