AB is money driven. Money to her equals success (like many many MANY other people in this world), the only way to be successful in the music industry and to get money is to be mainstream and popular and on a big label.

She wouldn't have signed on Interscope had she not wanted that for herself. What I think happened is she was so set on making it, and was so sure (**** everyone was, everyone around her kept telling her that. Even we kept saying it). She was (and still is) IT! And when her label kept telling her what she was turning in wasn't enough, she probably felt disenfranchised. I mean who wouldn't at that point?

But you know, instead she went ahead and switched it up and focused on at least getting her music heard and out there.

You can't sit here and refute the fact that she still shot for that mainstream success at first tho. I don't get why people try to sit here and say it like AB was never about that at some point.

Iggy is completly right, nothing but the truth.

Azealia Banks is so annoying, delusional, ignorant, shes a joke. Why does a genre in 2014 needed to be classified in race?, why does it need to be closed down for blacks only? This is how racism and conflict starts in general when you start allowing only certain persons or races to do something and others are not allowed to do it.

Music should be for everyone, and not put into categories, black people should be happpy other cultures embraces the culture they started, in should be a positive thing.

I find it disgusting that she says black people are only allowed to do hip hop or be succesful in that genre.

At the end of the day its the public who made Iggy succesful and bought her music! Nobody forced them buy her music!
