well you've been roped into believing it as 'empowerment' so there's no point in me wasting my breath, but explicit v.s. implicit doesn't necessarily designate implicit as inferior just because Nicki isn't outright saying 'love your fat ass butt!'.. as a matter of fact, it's cheaper / cornier to go the explicit route because what's the fun with plainly and repetitively battering a message into someone's head? We get it, she's fat and proud. 'He could tell I ain't missin no meals' coupled with Nicki's misandric candor on the song is more empowering TO ME, but perhaps that's just where you and I differ~

Nicki isn't talking about body empowerment AT ALL though.
She literally has two verses where she talks about dudes she's ****ed, a chorus sampling Sir Mix A Lot (
LITTLE IN THE MIDDLE but she got much back), and then she yells for a bit at the end about having a big ass and "**** skinny bitches."
There's no implicit body empowerment there, it's just a fun song about ****ing and large butts (but make sure your waist is still small!)
