Like, me doing every 2nd frame from an older Billy Joel video wouldn't look as smooth as say, a Till The World Ends gif that had every 2nd frame skipped. idk, most people probably wouldn't even notice the lag, but I'd know it's there.
Agreed with everything you said about Annie. Tomorrow had a great little finish, but the start of it was sooo awkwardly composed. I wanted to be getting shivers and wiggling in my seat like when I watch the 80s Annie, but that was only the case for maybe two songs.
omg, I completely forgot about them tracking her down through Twitter updates at the end. Cameron was honestly the highlight of the movie for me, she managed to make me laugh in almost every single scene she was in. She may have been a bit camp/over-exaggerated, but c'mon, it's a children's comedy musical no one could have possibly watched the film expecting an Oscar-worthy performance. She did the role exactly as it was suppose to be done.
I wonder what your #1 could be lemme check all your reviews in the What Movie Did You Just Watch thread and see what the highest score was. That darker film will probably be #1, it really moved me in a way no other film has. I watched it again yesterday and am watching the other potential #1 with a friend today (bc he hasn't seen it yet and wants to include it in his Best Of, too) so I'll know for sure by tomorrow which movie will be topping the list.
Very true. I don't watch a lot of film festival movies either, I'm not really into the whole ~artsy fartsy~ films scene; but sometimes if one really grabs my attention, and I have nothing better to do, I'll throw it on. There's only two in my Best of. They are both pretty high though (like, top 14), so maybe I should check 'em out more often. My new year resolution.

Oop.

I don't really use older videos so I guess I wouldn't know, but yeah I suppose that'd make sense. I definitely don't notice anything whenever I do the 2nd frame thing (and I do it a lot, actually) but someone made me a Taylor avi recently for The Photoshop Game and they noticed it was choppy when even I didn't, though I guess I didn't even explore it too much.
Yeah, Tomorrow just started off too slow and there were some parts where it really was awkward and it was noticeable. I loved Hard Knock Life and I actually enjoyed Diaz's first song, it was cute and she put a lot of her character into it which is always fun. The Jamie Foxx one in the helicopter and the one with that one semi-relevant character are forgettable. Opportunity had a rushed start and wasn't even that great, to be honest.
Fff yeah it was a little biT much for the whole social media thing, as if anyone would really care that much, anyways. Pretty much the same for me, she definitely played her role right. Mhm, people always judge things so insanely when they're not too amazing, if it's a movie that's basically begging for Oscars then you have the right to judge, but if it's obviously not going to be up for a ton of nominations then there's no need to go too crazy, plus it's not a BAD movie at all, it has a few messy moments here and there but overall it's fine.
Welp it's not gonna be hard at all to find it.

If you actually did that, you probably found it real quick. Then again, still got at least 5 more movies to go so we'll see if it changes.

It could happen, it just has a very, very slim chance of happening. Oop, yas rewatcH those movies.

I just rewatched my [current] #1 two weeks ago with friends and I loved it just as much the 2nd time, showing that it has that potential to stay in place.
Mhm, I really don't watch a lot of them at all. Not even many that are nominated for the Oscars and all, I just prefer stuff that's not too serious. Though occasionally I'll watch some and enjoy it, like Silver Linings Playbook and American Hustle, but then again those had Jennifer Lawrence so that was an easy hook, line and sinker for me.
