Various Artists - Platinum Hit: the Soundtrack
Well, there's just twelve of you left. Twelve. Twelve disciples, twelve in a dozen, and often twelve songs on an album. So this week, all together you'll be creating an album, one song each. You've been assigned a track number based on where you placed last week, but you are free to trade tracks with other "artists" as long as both parties consent. If you trade, please do so in the thread and complete your thread by Wednesday at 11:59 PM EST. So what will you be creating this week?
Track List
1. Sam Jay
The album opener. This song should have a strong message that introduces the listener to the album. Think Pretty Hurts, Phresh Off the Runway, Roar, etc.
2. JustLuke
The single. Write a huge, radio friendly smash that would be written by the likes of Max Martin and Ryan Tedder.
3. Element
The summer song. This is the summer single you'll all be playing with the windows down driving along the California coast. Make it bright and bubbly and just really fun.
4. Truth Teller
The urban jam. This track could feature a rapper, or you could just be taking over urban radio solo. This could be the most hard hitting song on the album. It could be a sex jam, a diss track, or a druggie anthem.
5. BlueM
The change of pace. This is where the album starts to get serious. Don't go all the way into downtempo, but make a radio friendly mid tempo about finding yourself or being in love.
6. Obsession
The sex song. Forget the critics (not really this better be good), and just fill this song with as many innuendoes as you can think of.
7. ausdaniel
The empowerment mantra. Think Ring Off, Love Me, or Passenger. Get introspective but be careful not to venture into the realms of cheesy.
8. EuphorianSea
The love song. Self explanatory.
9. Citrus
The one that doesn't fit on the second half of the album

. There's always that random hard hitting rhythmic song or weird rock song on the latter half of the album. Be creative, just made sure it isn't a ballad.
10. MattyTacos
The ballad. There's been other slow songs on the album, but this is the slowest, most introspective song on the album.
11. Lucky#17
The power ballad. This one's pretty self explanatory.
12. Prometheus
The bonus track. This song doesn't have to fit the theme of the album at all, so get really creative. Use a theme no one would expect you to use, or venture deep outside the boundaries of a pop song.
Be creative. These guidelines are pretty lax, so make the most of it. Don't just make the usual song we'd expect.
