Another trash that was not needed is Blow remix. Like what is going on there? SMH out of ALL the 80 songs Beyonce recorded, you're telling me she couldn't find two more spectacular songs on put on as a deluxe edition? She needs to do better with Parkwood. Sorry but i'm really mad and wont be buying that crap. It's insulting to the fans imo she needs to have more respect for us.

LOL. Both MJ and Prince have songs that crazier than this and that are pure and inhibited fun. Bey has nothing left to prove vocally or artistically so she can make ratchet songs like this if she wants to. Music doesn't always have to be serious.

But I agree that the Blow Remix is trash. I'm thinking she got Pharrell on it so radio would play it because radio doesn't play raunchy female songs but have no problem playing them if they are sung by men.

Honestly I think she did this re-release just to push the album to new retailers as well. Didn't some of you in the US complained that you couldn't find the album anywhere? She just needed a single to push it somehow. It's not rocket science sistrens.

It may not be on the original album itself, but in a way it does. Yall need to stop denying that. And if she wanted a single to re-ignite the era, "Mine" would have done it. It would be a much bigger hit on Urban than 7/11 can and it has the potential to cross over. And a ton of retailers don't carry re-releases, so the point of pushing the album to new retailers is moot.

Well not really. She included them in the original with the re-release didn't she? I never compared WDYLM with 7/11. I just said that both songs really fit their eras. And if she did include 7/11 in the original as an interlude it wouldn't have been 3:00 long and so repetitive. It could work.

My one flaw for ST is that she didn't showcase her vocals as much as I'd like. There are instances like on Drunk in Love or No Angel, but for the most part she didn't go there like she did on 4.

Who is getting fooled? You just quoted me saying that these two songs (from the More EP) are not part of the album… it's something separate. I know this.

Like I said in another thread though, Beyoncé is not dumb. If she was coming directly for a #1 or to make the album fresh again she would not have released these songs. They're bonuses, extras for novelty.

It may feels like it but it isn't a part of the original. You expect the X10 performances or the calender to be part of self titled too? It's sales won't be counted as part of self titled as well. I'm not sure how the US market works but leaving new retailers aside she needed to push new copies to the market cause I remember pretty well that people complained they couldn't find a physical anywhere. She added the extra to cause more interest.

I didn't say YOU are getting fooled. I was just making a general statement. Cause I've seen lots of people trying to downplay self titled's quality when in reality -as you already mentioned- the new songs are separate material.

Does she care about radio or not? which is it? because we pretend she doesn't care about radio and yet she would hire Pharrell to get radio to play it? i dont think so.

I think Bey is doing the opposite of what her father taught her and she is doing that because right now she hates her father so much, Let's be honest, if Matthew did not cheat on Tina and tried to steal his daughter, Bey would still have him as her manager and right now we would have Bey everywhere promoting her flalwess album and the bonus tracks wouldn't sound like 7/11 or Blow remix. Bey took the left with her self management because she can do whatever she wants and it's a big **** you to Matthew's clean commercial vision.
