Some of yall need to relax. Both songs are bonus material. Nothing special. At least 7/11 is a ratchet bop. It's not a masterpiece. Ring Off is so confusing to me. I know it's about Tina and I cannot really connect with it. The production has nothing to do with the lyrics as well. I knew she wouldn't do anything to promote this so I wasn't expecting a really good song. It's a MORE EP clearly for the fans. If you like it you buy it if not oh well. Thank God for SOTS which is the only song it can smash on its own so hopefully she'll release it as a single later next year. Ring Off must NEVER be a single tho.

I am confused. So now bonus songs can't be good? What about Why Don't You Love Me? Schoolin' Life? Dance for You? Lost Yo Mind? All exceptional bonus songs. I think people have come to expect a certain level of songs from Beyoncé, whether they are bonus songs or not. And 7/11 isn't just a bonus song, it's a single.

I agree though I think I prefer Ring Off to Pretty Hurts.. but it definitely has a place on the album more than Ring Off.

But this is messy. She's confusing radio stations. And listing both songs make it look like she isn't confident about her singles.

I don't consider those songs from 4 to be bonus tracks to be honest. Why don't you love me is SO IASF as 7/11 is SO BEYONCÉ. 7/11 could easily be an interlude to DrIL. Ring Off has nothing to do with self titled tho. It just doesn't fit the theme.
7/11 is an urban single but I still expect the video to elevate the song. I think the only reason she released 7/11 is because she wanted a fun urban banger. Also, the fact that self titled was critically acclaimed doesn't mean that all of her next releases will be in the same vein.

The autotune is a bit much but I guess it fits the song


Ring off is cute
And the clip at the end is a nice touch

But I feel like ST had so much more to give before going to these songs

As a stan, i REALLY tried to like 7/11 and listened to it again and again but i cant. I really cant understand WHY someone with such vocal talent and versatility decide to waste it on such track and autotune? C'mon now! I love that Beyonce is trying new things and she is probably bored with the music industry and release these songs on purpose but for someone who looks up to the likes of Prince and MJ, why waste your time on recording trash songs like that. I really dont get it.

Well they are... Please don't compare WDYLM to 7/11 Thanks. And it would have been pitiful if she added 7/11 to the original album. Would have taken it down a couple notches.
