Exactly. That's the point I was trying to make.
The song was appreciated in its own right because it was something new at the time. Yet in the context of the album, it didn't fare as well. "Last Goodbye" and "Past Lives" always seem to be the two key tracks from
Warrior that people still praise.
I do like "Lover", though. It's a good start to something new, but the melodies need a lot of work.
It's a sad day to be me.
I'll keep bopping to Supernatural verses and Lover's entirety.
