Britney has a better singles catalogue. Next

Doesn't she like have just 5 no.1s?
Let's not be too naive, you know better

Yes. That's how it works. Check the criteria for how they make the decision. I'm not being naive. Especially when the leading publication in music made the decision. She was named it based off of her albums as well.

Those are REAL EXCUSES. You are sooooo damn dump when it comes to charts. Radio was the biggest part of chart formula in early 2000's. Britney didn't had radio support or physically releases in most of it cases.

And it's truly laughable that you would compare a song released in 2011 when songs were doing 10M plus worldwide to an era where single sales were nothing less than pathetic.
One more night sold loads more than Crazy in Love and it doesn't make it the stronger hit.

That would be the Spice Girls.

Brit sold more albums because people prefer her discography generally to Bey's.

DIL sold more and B'Day a bit less actually. These album sales are great. Why? If they ain't great, that means ITZ's and Blackout's are very bad.
No, Britney sold more albums more than a decade ago because it was the the market's peak and because teens bought them.

Then why didn't 4 outsell Circus?

I already said this. Pop has evolved since 1999, but can you say Beyonce's genre has evolved as significantly since her debut? Call Baby One More Time dated, for example, and unlistenable today, but would that change how memorable it is? How it defined an era? Call it nostalgia or something else shady, but do not come for how iconic it is.

You can't make a such a blanket statement about a genre of music. Do you even listen to all R&B? Things have changed a lot since the debut of DC and Beyoncé went solo. If you did you wouldn't even say something like that. Brit and Bey have had quite the impact.

The delusion Is REAL

The debut album that I specifically excluded as Bey wasn't even a solo artist yet that was released in the album-buying decade? Do you really need to use that album, and the other that was released before Bey's debut to make a point? Why not use Britney albums released after 2003 as that is when Bey debuted?
Dangerously in Love (2003) - 12M worldwide
In The Zone (2003) - 10M worldwide
B'Day (2006) - 8M worldwide
Blackout (2007) - 3.1M worldwide
I Am... Sasha Fierce (2008) - 8M worldwide
Circus (2008) - 4.5M worldwide
4 (2011) - 3.3M worldwide
Femme Fatale (2011) - 3M worldwide (and that's being generous)
BEYONCE (2013) - 3.7M worldwide
Britney Jean (2013) -
Because you'd have no argument.

GH:MP is Britney's best catalog seller in general and if we exclude compilations from it, ...Baby One More Time is her best catalog studio album seller. Also The Singles Collection is good catalog seller. 1k (single) + 400 copies (...BOMT album) + 1,100 (compilations) = 2,5k for artist that didn't tour through the US since 2011, did any promo performances since 2011 etc...
She isn't clearly that bad catalog seller as Haribo trying to say.

It's not selling 1K per week.
But if the song is that memorable, then why aren't people buying it more than Crazy in Love (and than many Beyoncé's singles, tbh)?

Britney by far.
"Baby One More Time," "Oops I Did It Again," "Don't Let Me Be The Last To Know," "Slave 4 U," "Boys," "Toxic," "Everytime," "Gimme More," "Radar." "Circus," "Hold It Against Me," "Work Bitch," and "Perfume" are all 10/10 tracks.
