Why the report...

We all know you posted this solely to show this random bitter person's completely hateful opinion of Gaga. If this wasn't full of berating insults about Gaga you wouldn't have bothered with it.
So no, we don't need to be thankful for more trolling.

People in here pissed off at her so much that they think she should be billed into bankruptcy
When stanning goes too far... I mean, y'all are acting like it's your case
I don't necessarily believe her about Gaga being a 'fake' songwriter but I don't doubt her account on how her song managed to get in the hands of Gaga and her producers either. In my opinion, there was definitely some plagiarizing going on. She would have been better off focusing on proving her point about the song rather than Gaga as a person/professional because now she's taking it way too personal. That's not the way to win a case or convince anyone to side with you.

Please don't. There's no need, and the lady may be facing a 1.2-1.4 million dollar legal bill. No matter what happened, or if she made it all up, I think that's enough punishment.

She said in her statement that her boyfriend was the one who had the beat and sent the song to Gaga. Why would she then sue Gaga for what she claim was theft and not her ex-boyfriend. It is pretty much safe to assume Gaga did not know about her mixer's personal life. She was clearly trying to get as much money as she could, she failed, and now she has to pay Gaga's Lawyers. Now she will know better for next time.

|
Therefore, she deserves this 1.4 million lawsuit. She knowingly wasted Gaga's time and money when she should have been suing the person who supposedly "stole" the song.

What a stupid, arrogant elitist she is. You have to be poor to be creative?

Losing is not the issue here.
It is being penalized for even filing the case that’s wrong.

That is what you said you agreed with. What I said in my Original Quote was me disagreeing. She said her boyfriend had the song and sent it to Gaga with a new sound and whatever. She deserve to be penalized because she was being greedy, and she failed to prove that the song was even stolen. It is not fair that Gaga has to pay her Lawyers for a case that was baseless to begin with. Rebecca knew she was going for the wrong person but wanted to be greedy. Now her greed will lead to her having to pay up money she probably doesn't have.

If she made a false lawsuit against someone, she should be liable for the other party's legal fees.
Also, she may be correct in that SOMEONE stole her song and it eventually ended up in Gaga's hands, but I don't think (and nor do the courts think) Gaga herself had anything to do with it. I doubt Rebecca F. thought Gaga had anything to do with it, either, but rather saw Gaga as the target with money.

This is a very fair comment.
she doesn't deserve to be billed into bankruptcy.
As she says, she has a whole family.

Now, it was't a false lawsuit. She just lost.
The case had merit or it wouldn't have cost gaga 1.4m dollars

Maybe Gaga / her lawyers will take some form of pity on this girl and lessen the 1.4M dollar debt she's about to be paying for the rest of her life.

in most other cases, sure, but the other party is filthy rich... I'm sure it made a dent in her fortune but c'mon, she ended up making that tenfold since. there is no other reason to countersue a poor person, whether or not they were wrong, other than flat out evilness. they could have easily let her go with the loss and go back to her life without the money but no... it's not enough. They have to ruin her life when ultimately she had no impact on Gaga except this puny million she had to pay in legal fees.

Just so there is no confusion, this is how Gaga showed up to her sister's graduation.

edit: The ladies face in the pic.

She makes some interesting points near the end, and I think its a bit much that Gaga's people are suing her for so much, but all of that aside, the songs sound absolutely nothing alike

And the fact that this is the only excerpt out there leads me to believe this is one of the only comparisons she could draw up between the two songs.
I'm not wishing bankruptcy on Rebecca F., but nor do I think she should be so vocally complaining when A) this is apparently commonplace in US civil law and B) she filed the lawsuit against a person that she had little to no direct evidence about. If she were to file against the boyfriend or the original thief, that's one thing, but seriously, someone with no possible direct connection to you or the song?

Maybe they will, but I want this to be a warning to the others who want to try her.

From what I've read so far Rebecca knew she was wrong for what she was doing. Gaga's money is hers and she works hard for it. Some random person leeching millions out of her is absolutely deplorable and if she gets smacked with a 1.4M dollar bill at the end that'll be justice.
Tough cookies.
